The Skill Lab at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was inaugurated in October 2019, in alignment with the recommendations set forth by the National Medical Commission (NMC). This state-of-the-art facility is outfitted with an array of clinical skill trainers, offering both basic and advanced training models that fully comply with NMC guidelines.

Recently, we made an exciting addition to our Skill Lab with the introduction of the SIM-MAN 3G Simulator, a sophisticated tool that enhances our teaching capacity. The new skill lab was officially opened on August 3, 2024, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to providing high-quality medical education.

The program emphasizes structured training and thorough assessment for students utilizing our clinical skills lab. Faculty members and postgraduate students engage in this rigorous training through various hands-on simulation workshops that replicate real-life clinical scenarios. In addition, we offer a comprehensive series of training programs tailored for MBBS students, postgraduates, nursing students, and faculty members, ensuring that all participants develop a robust set of clinical skills essential for their future medical careers.
