The clinical wing is situated in the Central Laboratory of the hospital.

Investigative equipments: The hospital has well-equipped Clinical Biochemistry Lab having state of art diagnostic machines.

Investigations: 

  1. It is one of the major centre where apart from all the routine    investigations, specialized diagnostic techniques are employed for the benefit of the patients.
  2. On an average the Clinical wing caters to 600 - 700 samples investigated per day including both routine & special investigations.

Quality Control: 

The laboratory has been accredited with NABL ISO 15189:2012 Certification with Lab ID: M-1472.

It is well equipped with:

  • Two Vitros 5600 (Ortho clinical diagnostics) machines
  • ELISA Reader
  • Fine Care Analyzer
  • Nycocard Reader
  • Turbidometer
  • Cardiac Panel
  • ABG analyzers
  • Transasia- Na+/K+ analyzers
  • Two D-10 (HPLC) fully automatic Electrophoresis systems

The various investigations are being done under the expertise of qualified M.D. doctors, who have also been trained in Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in Medical Labs as per ISO 15189.

Apart from routine investigations, special investigations like hormone assays, Tumor markers, Total Iron profile, Vitamin- D etc are being done. Many of the technicians are also trained in Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in Medical Labs as per ISO 15189. The department also holds regular Training Programs for the technicians in equipment management and functioning and Quality control by experts from Johnsons & Johnsons and Siemens, apart from this, weekly Training programs are conducted by doctors for training the Staff nurses for Sample Collection procedures to minimize the pre-analytical errors.
